Changing Out the Filter in Your System
If you’re concerned with getting the best water possible, it’s very likely that you’ve looked into a water filter of some kind or another. Many people even choose to install multiple filters throughout their house. In this way, you can have the cleanest, safest water straight from the tap, at the dinner table, in the shower, and beyond. And while many of these filters are very convenient, they aren’t completely self-operating.
To that end, you should always look into how long you can use these water filtration systems before you have to replace the filter cartridge itself. It really does depend on the brand and type of filter you’re using, but they generally last between six and twelve months. It’s important to get these filters replaced in a timely manner, because once the filter is done, you’re no longer receiving the clean and safe water that you expect from your various filtrations systems.
Fresh Produce Requires Pure Water

Several years ago, my family decided to take a stand against the large corporate grocery chains that are swallowing so many mom and pop shops whole. We started our own small, independent store with an emphasis on locally grown produce and farm-fed meats. We ran into a problem almost immediately, however, when the fresh lettuce, spinach and other leafy vegetables showed signs of wilting.
As it turned out, we had been sprinkling and misting the vegetation with substandard water. Of course fresh produce is only as good as the water and fertilizer used to help it grow, and the same is true for preserving it when it hits a retail store. We budgeted for a commercial water filtration system and started seeing results almost immediately after making the switch.
The Perennial Problem of Drought
People can go for over a week without food, but it only takes a few days without water to spell the end for humans. Every year stories comes out about how drought and the lack of water purification systems is wreaking havoc in countries around the globe. This year is no different, with the citizens of India currently suffering.
Despite just experiencing their rainy season, the country is still in need of water. This year the lack of rain has led to the worst drought since 1972. People travel for miles with their water jugs to reach one of the few wells that still offer some fresh, clean water.
The Revitalization Advantage
Many water purification systems are fine for eliminating contaminants, but the systems that actually improve water at a molecular level are few and far between. Unfortunately, most household systems purify water without even addressing the question of taste. The most effective water revitalization techniques harness nature’s own cleaning methods.
Drinking water should be held to a higher standard; it goes without saying that water should be clean and easy on the palate. More than that, the best water is packed with invigorating energy, and it is capable of being absorbed instantly into the body. Advanced water revitalization techniques have set this new standard, and traditional purifiers aren’t likely to catch up anytime soon.
