Settle for Nothing Less Than the Cleanest Water

glass-of-waterWater, a building block of life, is best enjoyed when it’s crystal clear and tastes clean. Unfortunately, the tap water available in many areas leaves plenty to be desired on both counts. In an age when diverse choices are close at hand, there’s no need to put up with unsanitary, foul-tasting water.

The most sensible solution to this problem exists in the form of water filters. These filtration systems can be as simple as a fine physical barrier to sift out impurities. In other cases, water filtration is taken to the next level: chemical processes can change water’s composition at the molecular level. Either way, clean water remains one of the most distinctive marks of a healthy civilization.

Recapturing Nature’s Splendor

glass-of-waterWhen nature is left to its own devices, the result is often stunningly beautiful. For proof, just visit one of America’s pristine national parks. Wildflowers grow uninhibited and animals live in their natural habitats virtually untouched by the intrusive hand of man. That pastoral beauty is a far cry from the huge, squalid urban centers that blight our country with air and water pollution.

But nature yields much more than visual beauty alone. Mountain springs act as an abundant source for fresh, clean drinking water. It’s only when humans try to bottle that water or feed it through grimy pipes that unacceptable contamination occurs. Luckily, some home water filtration systems have the ability to restore water to its natural state, complete with a crisp taste and smell that’s reminiscent of a nature scene.

The Heat Wave

Like most people, I usually take a cool, refreshing glass of water for granted. In the past, I would drink the occasional sip of water from the tap, blissfully unaware of the harmful contaminants that could have been entering my body. But then a heat wave struck the Pacific Northwest. I began to sweat profusely in the unbearable heat and needed to drink extra water just to replenish my hydration.

All of a sudden, I found myself sitting at the dining room table, actually thinking about what I was drinking. The thoughts took a disturbing turn when I realized that my local water treatment standards are shockingly vague and lax. Clearly it was time to take matters into my own hands. I purchased a drinking water filter that eliminates contaminants and provides me with serious peace of mind.
