Water Filtration Options for the Home
In a time when water is often contaminated with dangerous toxins, heavy metals, and even prescription drugs, it’s important to filter all the water that enters your body. When it comes to water filtration systems and water purifiers, there are several options to consider at various price levels. The primary and most common option is a water filtration pitcher. These pitchers simply take water out of your tap, and filter it into clean water. The downside is the filters for these pitchers can be expensive and need to be replaced semi-frequently.
The other options are faucet filters and home water filters. These are more practical options, one installed over the faucet, and one installed in your actual plumbing. Both of these products provide an endless stream of clean water, however one works throughout your home. If you just drink water from one faucet, a faucet filter might be more practical, and in locations like apartments where you can’t change the plumbing.
