Changing Out the Filter in Your System
If you’re concerned with getting the best water possible, it’s very likely that you’ve looked into a water filter of some kind or another. Many people even choose to install multiple filters throughout their house. In this way, you can have the cleanest, safest water straight from the tap, at the dinner table, in the shower, and beyond. And while many of these filters are very convenient, they aren’t completely self-operating.
To that end, you should always look into how long you can use these water filtration systems before you have to replace the filter cartridge itself. It really does depend on the brand and type of filter you’re using, but they generally last between six and twelve months. It’s important to get these filters replaced in a timely manner, because once the filter is done, you’re no longer receiving the clean and safe water that you expect from your various filtrations systems.
Rejuvenated Water in the Middle of the Woods
Every year in late July or early August, I take my family for a week away from the hustle and bustle of city existence. We retreat to a cottage in the woods of northern Michigan, where we can get back in touch with the simple side of life. The cottage has its share of rustic charms; it seems like the electricity fails about half the time, so we while away the evenings playing cards by candlelight.
But some of the cottage’s quirks are considerably less desirable. The water quality is exceptionally poor, and I installed a UV water purifier to handle the problem. It effectively eliminated contaminants from the water, but something about the taste was still lacking. A friend recommended that I add the Water Revitalizer to my system. It made my tap water more crisp and refreshing. Now the cottage just wouldn’t feel the same without delicious water.
